Who We Are
Pastoral Staff

Our church is blessed to have 3 full-time pastors.

Paul Harder - Senior Pastor

Paul Harder was born in Congo, Africa and grew up with two brothers and two sisters. Although born in Africa to missionary parents, he spent the majority of his growing up years in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul put his trust in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age, through the witness of his father and mother.
Paul returned to Congo with his parents for his last two years of high school. God dramatically used those two years to broaden Paul's vision of the world, and plant the seed of full-time vocational Christian work in his heart. With this in mind, Paul attended Grace University in Omaha, majoring in history, philosophy and Bible.
Paul and Ruth were married and then moved to Dallas, Texas where Paul pursued further biblical training at Dallas Theological Seminary. Majoring in Old Testament, Paul graduated in May 1981, with his Master of Theology degree.
In June of 1981, Paul and Ruth accepted the call to be pastor of the O'Neill Berean Fundamental Church. Later, in 1984, when the Berean Church merged with Faith Community, he was asked to remain and pastor the new church. Paul is responsible for the main teaching of the Body and is committed to clear, practical, systematic teaching of the Bible.
During these years, Paul, Ruth, and the church body have been privileged to see God work in great ways. It is our prayer that God will continue to change lives for His glory, and that by His grace, Faith Community will produce faithful, humble and obedient servants of Jesus Christ.

   Andrew Hebel - Associate Pastor

Andrew Hebel was born on October 16th, 1986 in Dallas, Texas while his father was pursuing a Th.M at Dallas Theological Seminary.  Andrew has one older brother and one younger sister. As a pastor's son, he grew up between New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Andrew put his trust in Jesus Christ at an early age through the witness of his parents in their home in Oklahoma. At an early age, Andrew felt a call to be a pastor. However, after perceiving the difficulties involved in pastoral ministry and experiencing multiple moves, Andrew began to run from that call. On May 5th, 2009 Andrew recommitted to living his life fully to God's calling, began his biblical education at Philadelphia Biblical University, and has never looked back since. Andrew met Terrence Cheromcka during his studies at Philadelphia Biblical University through a Bible study he was leading for the church he was attending. Andrew and Terrence were united in marriage on July 20, 2013, the summer after he graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with his B.S. in Biblical Studies. Andrew and Terrence moved to Dallas, Texas shortly after their wedding to pursue further biblical training at Dallas Theological Seminary. They have one daughter named Elianna Grace (2014) and one son named Abraham Otis (2016). Andrew majored in Homiletics and graduated with his Masters of Theology Degree in the summer of 2017.During the last semester of his studies, Andrew received a call from Faith Community Church to join in full time ministry. Andrew and Terrence believed that God was leading them to Faith Community and accepted the call. They have already been overwhelmed by the love and generosity they have received from the church body. They are excited to serve Christ at Faith Community and continue the advancement of His Gospel for His Glory.

Jamie Lindsay - Youth Pastor

Jamie Lindsay was born and raised in England. With both parents firmly rooted in their faith, he was drawn to the love of Christ at an early age. Having lived in England from birth until graduating from high school, his roots were firmly placed in that culture.
With his father being English and his mother American, he has dual citizenship that enabled him to easily move to the United States for college. He attended Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska where he majored in youth ministry and Biblical studies. In 2004, one week after graduating from Grace,  he married Amber DeWeerdt. They have three daughters, Mia, Reagan and Whitney, and one son, Levi.
During and after his college years, he volunteered and interned at Brookside Church, working first with the Jr. High and later with the High School. It was here that he put the skills learned in college to work. Not only did this develop those skills, but also increased his passion for communicating the love of Christ to youth. Knowing that God had called them to full-time ministry, they were led to Faith Community Church in August of 2006.
They have been blessed beyond belief in their short time at Faith Community Church and look forward to serving here in the years to come. The desire of their hearts is to reach youth for the glory of Christ. They want to be faithful servants by following Him in this adventure and challenge He has placed before them.
